At Loving Hearts Preschool and Nursery we believe that every child is unique and capable of reaching their full potential. We provide a nurturing environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and lifelong learning. We incorporate cognitive skills, Social + emotional development, daily living, language development and literacy skills into our daily schedule. 

Our students follow multi-step instructions that are not explicitly outlined like cooking simple recipes together, building structures with blocks, or engaging in treasure hunts that require listening and following directions. A few more are art projects, science experiments, or group games. These activities help develop executive functioning skills, including attention, memory, and the ability to follow complex instructions. 

Strategies we use to promote our students social and emotional development are modeling positive reinforcement, structured play activities, emotional recognition exercises, story telling, role play and mindfulness practices. These approaches helps lays the foundation for healthy relationships, effective communication, and emotional resilience.

Loving Hearts Preschool and Nursery emphasizes the development of daily living skills such as using the restroom, dressing independently, and eating with utensils. These foundational skills are crucial for fostering independence and self-confidence in young children.

We foster language development in young children by practicing verbal communication, listening and understanding and supporting their language development. Students typically exhibit significant growth in both receptive (listening and understanding) and expressive (speaking) language skills.

We implement engaging activities to support early literacy development, focusing on skills such as reading from left to right, recognizing uppercase and lowercase letters, and practicing name writing. We practice these skills through activities like name puzzles, name tags, alphabet matching game, letter sorting, and interactive story telling.
